MISCELLANEOUS buying guide
The consumables that finish a job
This is where the adhesives, sealants, sprays and small hardware live: the items that are never the reason for the visit but that stop the visit being completed when they are not on the van.
Sealing outdoor work
Any hole drilled through an outside wall for a camera, a beam or a cable needs sealing, or it becomes a water path into the building. The right sealant for the substrate matters, and so does sealing at the time rather than intending to come back.
Contact cleaners and lubricants
A contact cleaner revives a corroded connection, which on the coast is a routine fault rather than an unusual one. A suitable lubricant on a gate track or a lock does more for reliability than most replacement parts.
Keep it stocked
These are cheap to hold and expensive to be without. If you install for a living, the running stock is worth keeping topped up rather than bought per job.
MISCELLANEOUS questions
Something I need is not listed, can you still get it? +
Very likely. The online catalogue is a subset of the full range on the counter, so send us the part number or a description and we will confirm availability and price.
Can I get a quote without an account? +
Yes. Add whatever you need to the enquiry list and send it. Prices on the site are shown to logged-in customers, but a quote is open to anyone.
