RSEC Security Equipment Centre has its roots in a legacy of service excellence dating back to 1993, when Roan Security first opened its doors. Over the next two decades, the business earned a reputation for reliability, product knowledge, and customer-focused support.

In 2014, under the leadership of Ronnie Thomson and Dylon Marais, the company evolved into RSEC Security Equipment Centre, officially registering as a Pty Ltd in 2016. Continuing its growth, RSEC welcomed Paulo Veloza as a Director in March 2025, strengthening the team’s vision and expertise.

Today, RSEC stands as one of Cape Town’s trusted distributors of professional electronic security products, built on more than 50 years of combined experience and an unwavering commitment to innovation, reliability, and service.
